Larsen's Beach

This Beach is the "new" Gay nude beach.  It has seclusion, beachcombing and much, much more.  I have found that when there I could feel almost as if I'm on a deserted Island....no one around.  I have even been the only person on the beach in the late afternoon.  This is my favorate time to be at this beach.  The sun hits the waves just beyond the reef and the sound is so peacful.  There are severl places on the beach where you can also have shade and still be in the sand...this is a special joy for me.  I love the sun but I also love that I can just sit relax for hours and not get sunburned.  

To get there just talke the main road (56) about 20 minutes from Kapa'a north and just before the 20 mile marker you will see Ko'olau Road...this is the secon time you will see this road....you will take a left about 1.2 miles on to what looks like a dirt road that has a big white mailbox...then take a quick left again down a long red dirt road.  At the end of the road there is a large opening the is the parking lot....go between the cattle guard and follow the trail down to the bottom.  The beach is about 5-10 minute walk and you can take any of the joining trails to the beach.
